Hello! I’m a UX Designer, based in sunny Phoenix, Arizona.
Currently working remotely for Gannett, in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia.

I have a wide range of experience, beginning in the early days of the internet, building web pages from scratch in HTML in Notepad.

My professional growth advanced at the same speed as the internet as a whole, on to the many flavors of CSS, and some scripting, and more recently, designing for the extensive range of devices available to us now, and all of their capabilities.

While I have development experience, as the roles in the industry have become more segmented, I now focus on the design side. That may be just assets, entire modules, or everything visual for a site or an application.

Currently, I primarily design in Sketch (though I’m learning Figma), and export my work in Zeplin for development, as well as create prototypes in InVision, for user testing and to share with stakeholders.

I sometimes conduct user tests and interviews, and analyze the data for upcoming features. In addition, my work often touches on design systems, where I create and maintain symbol libraries and guidelines.

I am always creating. The medium varies, and my interests are broad. I included links to some of my side projects in the footer.

Pleased to meet you!
